Aviary

The “Aviary” houses a collection of rare birds. Creatures in the Aviary are classified as birds because they have feathers and sometimes beaks, but they deviate from observed previously-observed birds upon close inspection. They appear to be adapted for flight, as most lack anatomy for perching or landing. However, most feathers appear to be decorative or distractive, rather than anatomically functional. We can only imagine the anatomy of the birds under their feathers, as well as the ecological niches they evolved to occupy.
